Lance Ferguson's Rare Groove Spectrum is a collection of newly recorded versions of classic Funk, Soul, Jazz and Latin treasures, which features some of Melbourne's finest musicians, including past and present members of The Bamboos, The Putbacks and Hiatus Kaiyote.

So honoured that the legendary Craig Charles has included tracks from three of my projects on Vol. 6 of ‘The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club' compilation. The Bamboos' "Golden Ticket" is the opening track, "Smokey Joe's La La" by Lance Ferguson's Rare Groove Spectrum follows that, and "Spiral" by Menagerie is the closing track.

Very proud to be nominated twice this year in Victoria’s prestigious The Age Music Victoria Awards. Menagerie’s 'The Arrow Of Time’ was nominated as Best Jazz Album and The Bamboos ’Night Time People’ is up for for Best Soul, Funk, RnB and Gospel Album.

I'm excited to announce the upcoming single for my new project 'Rare Groove Spectrum' is out on Freestyle Records on November 16th on 7" vinyl/digital.
It features re-works/live re-edits of lost Funk, Soul, Jazz and Latin obscurities.
